Hey Everybody

We will updating our blog, gallery, and website in the next few days...

So you will see some changes, so please be patient.

This "construction" is to bring you better services, like:

- new shopping cart that will let you order online

- new gallery to allow you to post your pages 

- forum to share ideas and collaborate with other club members

- monthly newsletters

If there is anything you would like to see us improve on, let us know and we'll incorporate for the New Year!

we loved the bright and fun designs and colors; can't wait to start designing pages for our next class!!!!

HI Everyone,

For the month of December we are going to host a contest!!!!

All you have to do is submit 1 to 3 of your favorite holiday photos. If your photos are selected, we will use them on a feature layout using products from our Demeber Kit.

You will also receive the original feature layout along with a free kit!!!!

If this contest goes well, we may do this every month for members only.

To enter the contest please follow the rules/instructions below:

- Click on the "Enter Contest" link on the right side of our blog
- An email will open with our email address and subject line (please do not change the email address or subject line)
- In the body of the email you will see "Name: Email:"
- Fill in your name and email address
- Insert your photos as .jpg attachments
- Then hit SEND

Please submit your photos by 7 December.

Please limit your entry to 1 to 3 photos.

Your photos will be sent directly to one of our private photo galleries. Once we select a winner the gallery will be deleted (so please don't send us your only copy).

After you submit the next step is to keep checking back on our blog to see if your photos were selected!

Hi Everyone!

We just wanted to thank those ladies who attended Jenn's class this week.

We love the feedback we are getting on the website and the kits. From your feedback we know that we will be more than ready to go "official" in Jan. '08.

Before Christmas we are planning to have the shopping cart completed on the website and in Jan. start working on an interactive gallery and message board.

Also a big thanks for your patience as we continue to incorporate changes from what we learn from you and lessons learned from starting a new business.

Check out the link to our Home Page and Gallery links to the Right side of our blog, to get a preview of our website and gallery (it's a start and we have a ways to go).

If you have any pages or projects that you have done with your kits so far. Please email them to us at info@scrapmountain.com. We would love to post them to the gallery.

For November we chose a local company, October Afternoon. We love their paper!!!! This kit also includes cool die cuts and rub ons. Check it out!!!! (click on photos to enlarge)

We will be doing four layouts - 3 one page layouts and 1 two page layout. After we are done you will still have tons of paper left for your own creativity.

We just ordered our first kit!!!
After a summer break we are looking forward to starting our monthly get together. For our first meeting back, we have chosen some really fun products from Fancy Pants Designs.

Jenn and I attended the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) convention in Chicago last week. CHA hosts two conventions a year, bringing together tons of vendors showing of their latest lines of products. We were like kids in a candy store.

Our goal - to seek out what will go into your first six months of kits.

Here's some of the highlights:

Jenn fell in love with the new line of paper, rub ons, and stickers from Scenic Route.




There were tons of big names there such as SEI, Basic Grey, and My Mind's Eye. But what we really thought was a great find, came from smaller companies such as Tinkering Ink, Piggy Tales, and Dude Essentials.

Hi Everyone!!!

So great to get our company blog started...

I'm Lynn Fox and my partner is Jenn Hernandez.
We are the co-founders of Scrap Mountain, LLC.

Our company mission is stated on the right.

At first glance we may seem like just another monthly scrapbook kit club, but if you look closely you will see that we are so much more. Jenn and I began this venture early this year. We saw a need to provide a service that not only brings you the latest scrapbook products but to also provide support to help guide and inspire you to actually use them....

We know you are all busy but we also know that you want to capture your memories.
A lot of times we hear....
..."that's great! wish I had more time"...
..."I'm just not that creative"...

So here's how we can help.
Jenn and I will do the research and seek out products that coordinate well together to create beautiful pages and fun projects. In your kit you will also get a CD filled with instructions and videos that you can play when it's convenient for you to complete your projects. If that's not enough we will also have a website with galleries and message boards to provide more inspiration and support.

We are looking forward to starting our club this fall Sept/Oct and officially open our doors with our online website early next year.....
